Cardiology

1. About the Department :

        Cardiology department started in Super speciality building on 8th May 2020 with OPD and non invasive cardiology services (Consultation, treatment,ECG and ECHO). On 7th August 2021 started CATHLAB services from our department, which was inaugurated by Padmashree Dr.C N MANJUNATH Director Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences & Research Centre bangalore. Since then we have performed more than 600 cathlab procedures including Coronary angiograms, Angioplasties, complicated angioplasties like LMCA stenting. From the last 2 years our OPD patients number increased to 100-120 per day and daily we are doing 70-80 Echocardiogram. We have allied health sciences attached to our department with 10 BSc CCT (Cardiac Care Technology) students every year from last two years.
